The development of new therapies takes a lot of time and money. This often exceeds the capacities of individual universities. Joint structures, a strategic alignment of complementary research priorities, interdisciplinary collaborative projects and modern infrastructures make it possible to solve challenges in a targeted manner.

Together, we have built up internationally visible expertise in immunology at the universities of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Regensburg and Würzburg and invested in state-of-the-art infrastructure for the development of immunotherapeutics.
